Team Leader: Milinda Hymel, Lisa Moos Mission Statement: To reach out to New Hopers in time of need or loss through preparation of a meal and/or serving. Time Commitment: Time of Need (illness, surgery, childbirth) Meal preparation and delivery to New Hoper’s home (2 hours), or Loss (death of New Hoper) Setting up, serving food and clean up for a funeral gathering at New Hope Church or at the New Hoper’s home (3 hours) How it Works Daily Bread Ministry leader will send an e-mail detailing a particular need to all volunteers. You choose which needs you will participate in by replying to that e-mail. If you reply and wish to participate in that need, your leader will then send you instructions on how to help. It is that simple! The Blessing Daily Bread is an “unseen” ministry, that is, unseen to all but God and those you are ministering to by sharing your spiritual gift of meal preparation and hospitality. You will be blessed abundantly as you become Jesus’ hands and feet here on this earth. Matthew 23:11 “The more lowly your service to others, the greater you are. To be the greatest, be a servant”.
