Since we can never measure up to God’s standards on our own, God has
reached out to man. We cannot solve the problem of sin, but God, who
is perfect, can and has. This is where Jesus comes in. He was not
merely a good man, He was and is God! He was God in human form
walking this earth some 2000 years ago. They took Him and crucified
Him, but He rose from the dead three days later and is alive and
ready to change lives today. This is why Jesus, and Jesus alone, was
uniquely qualified to bridge the gap between a Holy God and sinful
man. Jesus paid the price for us.
